 Модель Kawasaki GPZ900R также привела к существенному прорыву японских motorcycles в классе "Супербайк". Несмотря - стандартные в те годы технические особенности - стальная рама, колеса - 16 и 18 дюймов, воздушная подвеска и тд, мотоцикл обладал не только выдающимися динамическими характеристиками, но и отлично рулился.
