Touring enduro model '' Kawasaki KLV 1000 '''' was released in 2004 and was produced until 2006. This model was created in conjunction with Suzuki and is essentially the same [[Suzuki_V-Strom_1000_ (DL_1000) | Suzuki DL1000 V -Strom]] first generation. The differences are only minor visual changes such as the shape of the fenders, windshield and bright orange color. The identity of the motorcycles is so strong that the KLV 1000 records indicate Suzuki as Manufacturer.
