The main feature of the motorcycle is a 2-cylinder liquid-cooled 2053cc V-engine liquid-cooled, with a volume of 2053 cc. issuing 103 hp. power and 177 Nm of torque, fully available already at 3200 rpm. The motor has electronic fuel injection, dual throttle valves, forged pistons and connecting rods, and valve clearance lifters. Despite the significantly larger displacement, the Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan engine practically does not differ in appearance from the engine [[[Kawasaki_VN1600_Vulcan | Kawasaki VN 1600 Vulcan]] - the difference in size is literally a couple of millimeters.
Other important features of the Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan include a headlight with three additional projection bulbs (on models up to 2006), a duplex alloy steel frame, a rear mono-shock absorber (instead of a double one, as on classic cruisers), powerful disc brakes as in the front , and at the rear, as well as a belt drive to the rear wheel.
