Kawasaki VN250 Eliminator 250V

The Kawasaki VN250 Eliminator appeared in 1998, replacing the obsolete Kawasaki EL250 Eliminator.

Despite the name, the bike has nothing to do with the Eliminator series and rather belongs to the Vulcan series. This is primarily due to the engine, which has become a classic V-shaped (all Eliminator models were in-line), and the appearance - the features of the dragster were replaced by the classic features of the cruiser. In the Japanese market, the motorcycle is called the Kawasaki Eliminator 250V '.

The model was based on a 2-cylinder V-shaped liquid-cooled engine with a volume of 249 cc, producing up to 35 hp. power and up to 24 Nm of torque. The model is widely represented in the Japanese market, but in 2000 it was officially supplied to some European countries.

The Kawasaki VN250 Eliminator has a steel frame, suspension in the form of a telescopic fork and double shock absorber, wheels 17 'and 15' (unlike EL250 Eliminator, the rubber is 20 mm wider), disc front (unlike EL250 Eliminator, the front disc was increased to 300mm and the caliper was 2-piston) and rear drum brakes. The fuel tank capacity has been increased from 11 liters (for EL250 Eliminator) to 13 liters.

In general, the Kawasaki VN250 Eliminator received a large number of technical and visual improvements, and began to compete on an equal footing with Honda Magna 250. Nevertheless, the VN250 Eliminator is practically not represented on the Russian market, while the Magna 250 is quite popular.

The Kawasaki Eliminator 250V lasted until 2007, after which it was discontinued. European versions were produced only in 2000 (sales - until 2002), after which sales of new motorcycles were carried out only in the Japanese market (a small number of motorcycles were also supplied to Asian countries and Oceania).
