Yamaha MT-03 (MT320, MTN320)

Yamaha MT-03 was first announced in November 2015 at the EICMA exhibition, and went into mass production and official sales since 2016. Despite the similarity of names, the new MT-03 has nothing to do with the model of the same name Yamaha MT-03, produced from 2006 to 2013. The main difference between the new version and the old one is the concept - the current MT-03 (2016-) is a budget model built on a common base with Yamaha YZF-R3. While the original model MT-03 (2006-2013) is based on the enduro Yamaha XT660Z Tenere.

The Yamaha MT-03 (2016-) markets itself as an inexpensive, naked motorcycle for beginners, primarily intended for the countries of Southeast Asia (although it is sold in other countries, including Europe). The model can also be called - ' Yamaha MT320 ', ' Yamaha MTN320 '.

The model was based on a 2-cylinder in-line liquid-cooled engine with a volume of 321 cc. see, delivering 42 hp. power and 29 Nm of torque. The engine is revving, the maximum performance is at 9000-10750 rpm.

Of the features of the Yamaha MT-03 (2016-), a steel diagonal frame, an injector, simple suspensions in the form of a conventional telescopic fork and mono-shock absorber, a 6-speed gearbox, ABS, a 14-liter fuel tank and 168 kg of curb weight should be distinguished.
