The main feature of the Honda NRX1800 Valkyrie Rune is the 6-cylinder engine taken from the [[Honda_GL1800_Gold_Wing | Honda GL1800 Gold Wing]], but with different camshafts (valves, unlike the Gold Wing, are manually adjusted), a retuned injection system (6 throttle valves , instead of 2 on Gold Wing) fuel and ignition. The engine produces 118 hp. power and 167 Nm of torque, showing maximum performance already at 4500-5500 rpm.

Other features of the Honda NRX1800 Valkyrie Rune include an aluminum frame, a cantilever rear swingarm, a front fork with a lower arm, combined brakes, a cardan drive, an electronic immobilizer with electric steering lock, and a dashboard with automatic backlight adjustment depending on the lighting conditions.
