The cruiser model Honda NRX1800 Valkyrie Rune was produced from 2004 to 2005. in a limited edition of 1500 pieces, intended for the American market, of which only 20 pieces. were officially sold in Europe. The concept of the model was quite simple - to make an exclusive motorcycle based on Honda GL1800 Gold Wing with a unique design and with all the advanced Honda technologies. So, two versions of the Honda NRX1800 Valkyrie Rune motorcycle appeared on the market:

  • version A - "exclusive" (standard) version of the motorcycle.
  • version B - the "luxury" (top) version of the motorcycle - differs in the presence of chrome, steering wheel and other cosmetic changes.

Throughout the entire production period, the Honda NRX1800 Valkyrie Rune had 3 color schemes:

  • Double Clearcoat Black - black
  • Illusion Blue - blue
  • Candy Black Cherry - burgundy

The model may also be referred to as - Honda Valkyrie Rune.

The main feature of the Honda NRX1800 Valkyrie Rune is the 6-cylinder engine taken from the Honda GL1800 Gold Wing, but with different camshafts (valves, unlike the Gold Wing, are manually adjusted), a retuned injection system (6 throttle valves , instead of 2 on Gold Wing) fuel and ignition. The engine produces 118 hp. power and 167 Nm of torque, showing maximum performance already at 4500-5500 rpm.

Other features of the Honda NRX1800 Valkyrie Rune include an aluminum frame, a cantilever rear swingarm, a front fork with a lower arm, combined brakes, a cardan drive, an electronic immobilizer with electric steering lock, and a dashboard with automatic backlight adjustment depending on the lighting conditions.
