It has a boosted 74 hp engine, an inverted fork, sport brakes, shortened fenders, a one-and-a-half seat, a different instrument panel, a 17-liter fuel tank, 17-inch wheels and an extended swingarm. This modification was also made for Suzuki and had the name - [[Suzuki_VZ1600_Marauder | Suzuki VZ 1600 Marauder / Boulevard M95]].

2008 was the last year of production for the Kawasaki VN1600 Vulcan series, after which it was replaced by an updated series - [[Kawasaki_VN1700_Vulcan | Kawasaki VN1700 Vulcan]].
