The Honda XL 1000 V Varadero enduro touring motorcycle began production in 1998 and was produced until 2012. Initially, the model was produced in Japan (until 2001 - serial number '''' SD01 ''''), then production was moved closer to the motorcycle sales market, namely to Europe: from 2001 to 2011. the model was produced in Spain (serial number - '''SD02 ' SD02 ''), and in the last year of production (2011-2012) - in Italy (serial number - '''SD03''').
