Initially, the model was focused on the domestic Japanese market, but since 1988 it has been available in the United States, and since 1990 in the European market. In 1996, a version of the Kawasaki EL252 Eliminator was produced for European countries, which had a 252 cc engine. see instead of the standard 248 cc. cm.
