Suzuki GSX400S Impulse (Type S) 1994-1996
The classic road bike Suzuki GSX 400 Impulse was introduced in 1994 as a successor to the old GSX Impulse series from the 1980s.

Lineup :

Main competitors:

Suzuki Impulse 400 was based on an in-line 4-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with a volume of 399 cc and a standard 53 hp. power and 37 Nm of torque.

In parallel with the regular version of the Suzuki GSX 400 Impulse, an S version with a front half fairing was also offered (in Japanese sources it is often referred to as Type S ).

In 1999 the model receives new 4-piston Brembo brakes at the front and production of the model is discontinued.

In 2005, the model goes on sale again, but in an updated form: a new exhaust with a catalyst (for new environmental requirements), new carburetors with a throttle position sensor and a new "S" logo on the gas tank.

2007 was the last year of production for the Suzuki GSX400 Impulse, which was released in several color options. By 2008, the motorcycle finally rolled off the assembly line and did not receive further development.
