The road bike model Honda CBF 600 appeared in 2004 along with the model CBF500 and was aimed at the European market.

Main competitors:

The first versions (2004-2007) of the CBF600 had a steel frame and were based on a Honda Hornet 600 engine that was throttled to 78 hp. In 2008, the Euro-2 emission standards are updated to Euro-3, the CBF500 model leaves the market, and the CBF600 receives a number of significant improvements - an aluminum frame and a new injection engine from the sports Honda CBR600RR ... In this form, the Honda CBF600 was produced until 2013 inclusive, after which it was discontinued. In 2014, the Honda CBF600 and Honda CB600F Hornet were replaced by a new naked model - Honda CB650F.

Main modifications:

  • Honda CBF600N / NA - classic road version with round headlight. NA - version with ABS.
  • Honda CBF600S / SA - version with front fairing and height-adjustable windshield. SA - version with ABS.

Major generations:

  • Honda CBF600 (2004-2007) - first generation.
  • Honda CBF600 (2008-2013) - second generation .

Among the features of the Honda CBF600 model series, one can single out a spatial frame (since 2008 - aluminum), simple suspensions in the form of a conventional telescopic fork in front and a rear monoshock, disc brakes front and rear with ABS as an option, a 20 liter fuel tank (up to 2008 - 19 l), smooth engine response, fuel efficiency, adjustable seat and windshield height (for the CBF600S version), from 213 to 222 kg of unladen weight (depending on the version and equipment).
