As a result, the engine received a reduced compression ratio, a lower maximum power, but significantly increased the torque characteristic, making it smoother and more accessible at lower revs. Maximum power - 110 hp, maximum torque - 91 Nm at 6500 rpm.
 
 
The frame of the motorcycle is a steel structure, the suspension is a conventional telescopic fork and a monoshock. Since 2004, the Honda CB900F Hornet has been equipped with an adjustable cartridge fork and gets a rebound damping adjustment for the rear shock.
