Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan was first introduced in 2004 and was produced until 2010. The introduction of this model to the market was driven by Kawasaki's desire to make the largest cruiser with the most powerful engine, but with the control of a typical classic cruiser. So the Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan was born.

Modifications
- Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan is a regular version of the motorcycle. It was the only modification from 2004 to 2005. inclusive.
- Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan Classic - the classic version of the motorcycle. Replaced the previous modification since 2006.
- Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan Classic LT (Light Tourer) - the version is similar to the Classic, but with a windshield, a more comfortable seat for the passenger, a backrest and leather side trunks.
