Suzuki Djebel 200 appeared in 1993 as a replacement for the outdated Suzuki SX200R and was available in the domestic Japanese market.

Lineup:

Main competitors:

In 1995, an export version of the motorcycle appears, intended mainly for the markets of North America and Oceania - ' Suzuki DR200SE . Both models were identical in technical part, but visually different - the Djebel 200 had a round headlight with metal protection, the DR200SE was equipped with a rectangular headlight, traditional for enduro, in a plastic case. The Japanese version (Djebel 200) was produced until 2005 inclusive, after which it was discontinued; the export version (DR200SE) was available on the market until 2013.

The Suzuki Djebel 200 (DR200SE) is based on a 199 cc 1-cylinder 4-stroke 2-valve air-cooled engine. see, giving out 20 hp. power and about 18 Nm of torque. The maximum engine performance is 7000-8500 rpm.

Other features include a steel frame, long-travel suspension in the form of a conventional telescopic fork in front and a rear monoshock, front disc brakes (rear - drum), a 13-liter fuel tank, a 5-speed gearbox and 121-126 kg of curb weight (depending on version).

On the Russian market, there are mainly domestic Japanese versions (Suzuki Djebel 200), while export ones (Suzuki DR200SE) are practically not found. This is mainly due to the availability of a large selection of domestic Japanese modifications at the respective auctions and the relative ease of delivery from Japan (compared to North America).
