The Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan was first introduced in 2004 and was produced until 2010. The introduction of this model to the market was driven by Kawasaki's desire to make the largest cruiser with the most powerful engine, but with the control of a typical classic cruiser. So the Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan was born.

The main feature of the motorcycle is a 2-cylinder V-engine liquid-cooled, with a volume of 2053 cc. issuing 103 hp. power and 177 Nm of torque, fully available already at 3200 rpm. The motor has electronic fuel injection, dual throttle valves, forged pistons and connecting rods, and valve clearance lifters. Despite the significantly larger displacement, the Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan engine practically does not differ in appearance from the engine [[[Kawasaki_VN1600_Vulcan | Kawasaki VN 1600 Vulcan]] - the difference in size is literally a couple of millimeters.
Other important features of the Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan include a headlight with three additional projection bulbs (on models up to 2006), a duplex alloy steel frame, a rear mono-shock absorber (instead of a double one, as on classic cruisers), powerful disc brakes as in the front , and at the rear, as well as a belt drive to the rear wheel.
Modifications
- Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan is a regular version of the motorcycle. It was the only modification from 2004 to 2005. inclusive.
- Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan Classic - the classic version of the motorcycle. Replaced the previous modification since 2006.
- Kawasaki VN 2000 Vulcan Classic LT (Light Tourer) - the version is similar to the Classic, but with a windshield, a more comfortable seat for the passenger, a backrest and leather side trunks.
