The Honda CRF450L soft enduro model was introduced on August 23, 2018, with official sales starting on September 20 (2019 model year). Unlike other budget models of the CRF series, the model CRF450L is built on the common base of the cross Honda CRF450R - frame, engine, suspension. The main changes affected design, equipment (complete preparation for public roads - LED optics, turn signals, brake light, mirrors, number plate), engine settings (it was seriously deformed and reconfigured to increase torque at the bottom), wheel dimensions, settings suspensions, fuel tank capacity and gearbox (6-speed).
Also in parallel was presented the concept of modification "Honda CRF450L Rally" ", which is present in the younger line Honda CRF250L, however, at the time of writing this review, it is not yet available for sale. The Honda CRF450L is targeted at the markets of Japan, Europe, North America and Australia.
